Date	Event	Notes
June 17, 8:34pm	Children Arrive !!	The children arrive on Thursday, June 18th at 8:41PM - Delta Airlines Flight # 0161 (Domestic Terminal 1, Gate 48). Please check your emails often on the days leading up to arrival. That is how we will alert you of any last minute airline changes or problems. We will meet at SFO in the Arrivals area of the Domestic terminal, please look for the CCP sign and balloons in the main hall waiting area. If you can, please park in Domestic garage “B” and remember to were your CCP shirt!. Please try to be there 1 hour prior to arrival (7:40PM). Please check in with Tatiana Saniuk (or Rosey Erickson) upon arrival and before you leave.
June 20, 11am-1pm	Welcome Picnic	Mandatory event for ALL CCP FAMILIES !! The welcome potluck picnic will be held two days after the children arrive on Saturday at 11am in McNear Park, Petaluma. This is a time where all families get to socialize, and visiting children get to fill shopping bags with gently used clothing. (If you have any to donate, please bring them !!) This is also a terrific opportunity to make use of the interpreters and learn about your visitor !!
July 12, 1-4pm	Doubletree Swim Party	Double Tree Hotel, Rohnert Park. This is the third year they have invited our group to swim at their hotel for the afternoon. Please eat lunch BEFORE you arrive and limit any snacks and drinks you bring to the pool area (No glass containers, please). Double tree will provide their towels.
July 14, 12-2pm	Birkenstock Picnic	Every year Birkenstock USA generously provides a picnic lunch for all our CCP families and some sort of "goodie bag" for our visiting kids. This is truly a great opportunity. Details will follow in your host family packet.
July 15, 11am	Six Flags, Discovery Animal Kingdom Trip	A day of fun at Six Flags. Bechtel is unwilling to sponser this event this year, luckily Six Flags was willing to give us a significant discount. If you cannot attend, we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to find another host family who is willing to take your host child... this is something we'd hate for them to miss out on.
August 1, 6:30am	Children Depart	The children depart on Saturday, August 1st at 6:30AM. There flight (Delta Flight # 72) back home stops in New York so they will be departing from the United domestic Terminal #1. Please check your emails often on the days leading up to arrival, this is how we will alert you of any last minute airline changes or problems. You must be there 2 hours prior to departure (4:30AM). Upon arrival at the airport please check in with CCP Board Member, Tatiana Saniuk at the airport when you arrive.
